Karhu has been making sports equipment in Helsinki since 1916 and carried the Flying Finns to Olympic gold. Its M-logo stands for mestari, Finnish for champion, and the brand famously sold its three-stripe mark to adidas in 1952. Models like the Fusion 2.0, Mestari and Aria run on the Fulcrum midsole developed with the University of Jyvaskyla.
